Questioned by left-wing MPs, the Minister of the Interior announced that he had sent reports to the Paris prosecutor following the neo-fascist demonstration organized on Saturday, May 10, in the 6th arrondissement of the capital.

"Paris is anti-fascist. France is anti-fascist. Our Republic is anti-fascist. And it is time that the government of the Republic be anti-fascist too." The admonition echoes through the chamber and is addressed to Bruno Retailleau. In the Assembly on Tuesday, May 13, the Socialist MP for Paris, Céline Hervieu, challenged the Minister of the Interior after the neo-fascist demonstration organized in the capital on Saturday, May 10. "Racist slogans, hidden faces, hoods, Nazi tattoos with swastikas, drums with red flames reminiscent of those of the Hitler Youth.
